Are We There Yet?

On the trail for adventures
As the days get longer, and we inch into spring, it's a great time to make plans for travel, vacations, and fun getaways. The South Willamette Valley has it all....beautiful countryside, small cities with major universities, culture, sports, and more, and unlimited outdoor activities, farmers' markets, concerts, and of course, fabulous wineries and microbreweries.

Farmers markets will come alive in the spring with Eugene's Saturday Market opened on April 1.
The Corvallis-Albany Farmers' Markets opens on April 15, and our nearby Lone Pine Farms produce market opens in early May for daily shopping for produce, baked goods, ice cream, and fun family activities as well.

Graduations at the University of Oregon and Oregon State University draw family and friends from across the country for celebrating accomplishments and cheering on graduates.  Plan ahead for limited accommodations in the area.  June 17 for Oregon State graduation and June 19 for University of Oregon graduation.

Fun times for our family grad in 2015

And on the radar screen for mid-August is the Total Solar Eclipse on August 21 right here in the Willamette's Valley's Oregon Wine Country.  Our B&B is very near the zone of totality, so viewing should be excellent in our area.  Read up on the eclipse on the Travel Oregon website and on the Willamette Valley Oregon Wine Country website. We have very limited accommodations remaining for the Eclipse.

Hope to see you in the country soon.  Cheers to spring and summer!!!
