Our Barn and Synergy Stables

Traveling with horses?  We are a great stop to lay over and refresh yourself and your horses.  We know what it takes to be safe and comfortable on a long journey, after our experience traveling from Alaska to Oregon with three horses. We offer a covered "guest barn," with stalls with bedding and fresh water and access to our outdoor arena to exercise your horses before continuing the journey. And we do the clean up on your departure day, so you can get on your way without delay.

We are conveniently located, less than 20 miles from Interstate 5 with only paved roads between the Interstate and our driveway.  We are the perfect comfortable one-day drive to or from the Seattle or Vancouver, BC area and we are about 500 miles north of Sacramento, CA.

Up to five stalls available in Guest Barn

Stalls include bedding and set up with fresh water

We are the only stable in our area that also offers on site people accommodations, along with horse facilities.  We have a late model RV guest house near the barns with it's own little yard and set up with all the amenities.  Comfortably sleeps four. We also offer RV and Living Quarters trailer parking with 20 amp electric, water, and WiFi. There is a free RV dump station in nearby Junction City, if you've been on the road awhile. Special rates apply to horse travelers. Pet friendly on approval and with pet fee.

We also have detailed information on  great day riding destinations within an easy reach from Territorial Farm Stay.  Ride the Coast, the mountains, or along the river, and combine your riding experience with wine tasting and exploring the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon.  See the Our Bed and Breakfast tab on this website for more details on people accommodations.

We book our people and horse accommodations directly with you through an online invoice with contactless payment. We accept all major credit cards.  A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation.  Next day or same day reservations, if available, require payment in full at the time of booking.  We are a small facility and ensure that all our guests and horses receive personal care and attention.  Advance booking is appreciated and helps us prepare for your arrival and comfort.

Before our expansion with Territorial Farm Stay, we began with Synergy Stables, a family owned stable established in 2007, focusing on beautifully gaited Paso Fino horses and natural horsemanship.  Owner Mary Schoenheit and daughter Jerri Gillean teamed up to establish Synergy Stables after they bought the Junction City farm, and Mary brought her three Paso Finos to Oregon from Alaska.

Synergy Stables has been home to Mary and Jerri's horses, and also has developed as a small boarding facility, offering quality care in a small and friendly environment. We also offer a lesson program and equine assisted psychotherapy.
