When the Smoke Clears....Look for Fall

When the smoke clears....and yes it will, fall will be upon us in the South Willamette Valley.  It's time for football games, harvest time in the vineyards, fall colors, and yes, rain coming soon.

But first, here she is!!!  Taffy, the new B&B host dog in training.  We're looking forward to Taffy growing into her role to welcome guests and play with kids (and adults) and be an all around fun and friendly dog at our B&B.

Next up is our fall football special

Avoid the crowds and expand your U of O home game weekend with wine tasting and fun in the country.  For home game weekends, mention our website special, and save 10% on booking two rooms for one night (bring your friends) or booking one room for two nights (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday), including a generous continental breakfast each morning.  Two rooms available in our cozy farmhouse B&B, each suitable for two people.

Breakfast will be served in the dining room

Cozy living room with wood burning fire

Our Football Special is also available for our travel trailer guest house, with all the amenities, an option for  "glamping"  near our B&B, comfortable for up to 4 people.

Located 4 miles west of Junction City, an easy 30 minute drive to the game or to shuttle locations. Within 10 minutes of 10 wineries offering delicious Oregon wine in beautiful settings.  Access to even more wineries within 30 to 45 minutes, both north and south.

And....We're Back!

The Territorial BBB family is back in the USA and basking in beautiful memories while we deal with a bit of jet lag, too many spring things to do on The Farm, and getting back to the groove of daily life. Thank you for your patience while we were Down Under.  We hope we received all the phone and email messages and got responses to you....sometimes a bit challenging.

We're gearing up for the beautiful spring and summer in Oregon and the busy season at the BBB.  If you haven't booked your reservations for grad weekend, June 17 & 18, for Oregon State grad on the 17th and U of O grad on the 19th, we still have some availability (2 night minimum), and need to get those reservations made....will be a full house from Eugene to Corvallis with all the graduate's families and friends coming our way.

And May is Oregon Wine Month....one of our favorites.....since we are minutes from 10 wineries and a few more minutes from many more.  We love the South Willamette Valley Wine Country and take full advantage of the delicious wines, beautiful venues, and great people.  Plan a wine tasting weekend or a mid-week visit that you will never forget. Flowers are in bloom, grass is green, and the rain is slowing down....YES!

Celebrating Down Under

She did it!  Daughter Julia has married her Prince Philip, and our family joined with Philip's family and our friends to celebrate and enjoy a beautiful wedding and reception with fabulous food and music and joy.  We are now exploring Sydney and making the most of our time together.  Headed home to the Farm and the BBB on Monday, April 24 and back to work!  Please continue to communicate with us via email for future reservations. It is easier than phone calls while we are away. Manager Sarah is keeping it all going back home, and we look forward to seeing you soon in the country.

WE'VE GONE DOWN UNDER!

The Territorial BBB family has gone Down Under for Daughter Julia's and Fiance Philip's wedding, so we have limited availability for the month of April. Please email us for bookings for future dates.  We're all connectivity good in Australia, but difficult for phone calls.  Our Manager Sarah is on the job while we are away and taking care of the B&B, the stable, and our April guests. Look forward to seeing you in May and into the summer.  Mary & Family

Are We There Yet?

On the trail for adventures
As the days get longer, and we inch into spring, it's a great time to make plans for travel, vacations, and fun getaways. The South Willamette Valley has it all....beautiful countryside, small cities with major universities, culture, sports, and more, and unlimited outdoor activities, farmers' markets, concerts, and of course, fabulous wineries and microbreweries.

Farmers markets will come alive in the spring with Eugene's Saturday Market opened on April 1.
The Corvallis-Albany Farmers' Markets opens on April 15, and our nearby Lone Pine Farms produce market opens in early May for daily shopping for produce, baked goods, ice cream, and fun family activities as well.

Graduations at the University of Oregon and Oregon State University draw family and friends from across the country for celebrating accomplishments and cheering on graduates.  Plan ahead for limited accommodations in the area.  June 17 for Oregon State graduation and June 19 for University of Oregon graduation.

Fun times for our family grad in 2015

And on the radar screen for mid-August is the Total Solar Eclipse on August 21 right here in the Willamette's Valley's Oregon Wine Country.  Our B&B is very near the zone of totality, so viewing should be excellent in our area.  Read up on the eclipse on the Travel Oregon website and on the Willamette Valley Oregon Wine Country website. We have very limited accommodations remaining for the Eclipse.

Hope to see you in the country soon.  Cheers to spring and summer!!!
