Falling Into Fall

The first of the fall rains have begun in the South Willamette Valley, gently watering the parched soil and dry grass.  The "green fall" will be here soon, with lush grass abounding. Our neighboring wineries are in the final moments and details of harvest.  2016 will go down as a great growing year, with perfect temperatures and growing conditions, and a nice dry September to complete the harvest. Looking forward to seeing how those 2016 wines will taste.  For the moment,  we are savoring 2014 Pinot Noirs for this fall season.

Football is well underway, and fans with green and gold Duck attire and black and orange Beaver gear are out and about every weekend.  The arts are getting in full swing with fall performances of music and dance and art exhibits.

Farmers Markets are still in full swing, and pumpkin patches and festivals and mazes will be great sources of entertainment through October.

Our horse activities are moving closer to home now, having wrapped up some beautiful beach riding on the Oregon Coast between rain storms and wet gear and wet horses.  Fall is a great time for visiting the country and all the beauty and fun that Oregon has to offer....sports, arts, wine, and outdoor activities.....come visit us and see for yourself.
